Stewart Kaye serves as director of capital markets at AREAS. He leads all efforts in capital markets and plays a key role in acquisitions, asset management, and the strategic development of the firm. Kaye is a licensed California Department of Real Estate sales agent.
Prior to working at AREAS, Kaye was director of asset management and capital markets at New Standard Equities. There, he oversaw a portfolio of more than 1000 units in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, overseeing revenue growth; mitigating risk exposure; communicating with institutional investors and family offices; and executing the business plan. Kaye’s role expanded to directing the capital markets division where he managed and fostered relationships with funding and deal partners; including investment banks and investors; structured and analyzed the recapitalization of assets; and structured and analyzed investment into the company’s operating platform.
Kaye began his career in entertainment where he wrote and developed dramas for Netflix, History Channel, Fox, Disney, Sony, and Legendary. Stewart earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
